I’m not sure what we will be doing. I need to try to reorganize my wardrobe and try to get some things ready to donate to the church rummage sale. It’s later in September.
Our missions committee is expanding it to two days this year.

Something creative…hmmm.
Would it count if I painted my face…with makeup…for church?! (This is my attempt at silly!) But, one FUN thing I’ve done is go to some garage sales. On Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends, our town has a community-wide garage sale extravaganza! Yesterday we went out, and today we’re heading out again! A great find so far – an old steer skull, intact, with the horns! Perfect addition to our mountain home!

I have taken the time to rest up over the week-end, something I sometimes find hard to do.

Thank you Ceil! May your holiday be blessed with joy and rest and peace! We are resting from our labors today, and cherishing the memories of a wonderful day spent yesterday with loved ones and friends, celebrating our oldest son’s birthday as well as the birthday of our nephew, both born on the same day, 31 years apart! God is good, and we are thankful.
Love this! Taking time to “play” will provide renewal and a chance to step back from life’s busyness. Enjoy your holiday!
I don’t plan to cook. I do plan to go for a ride today providing it isn’t raining. My wife and I will also spend some time driving around looking at houses since we may be selling ours. I do plan to go to the office for a short time this morning (I am here now) to get a sermon started and then ride. I don’t plan to do any work (unless I get called to the hospital for someone who is really bad). Have a great LD Ceil!
Hoping you are having a great weekend! We had a good Sunday. David and I went out on a dinner date with some friends and earlier in the day, he took the older two to the movies to meet up with friends. I stayed back and entertained the younger ones, as well as four more who don’t belong to me 😉 Good times.
Ah… love this Ceil!!! I didn’t do anything creative- but we did have some family time, so there’s that. 😉
