I’ve been thinking a lot about this lately. God’s direction for my life… but anxious about taking a step/making the wrong choice. I’ve been feeling like I need to take a leap of faith. Perhaps God is confirming this through your post today.

I am home and having a little catch up today. Enjoy your comments on my blog, and am loving having a little catch up on yours. We have certainly learned how to take the leap of faith these last 7 or 8 years… I am glad I couldn’t see how far off the ground we were when we first leaped… might not have jumped; But praise the Lord we did, we have, we do…. and He is there with us, calling us, holding us, helping us, and growing us, and yes, upholding us with His righteous and victorious right hand.

Fear seems to be something that grips the hearts of so many these days. One of my favorite verses to pull out when fear tries to rear its head at me is, “What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee.”

Amen, thanks for posting this. So very encouraging and a wonderful reminder. So often when I am afraid it is because I have lost sight of God’s providence and lost my faith (to a certain extent…you know what I mean).
Hi Anne! Oh, I know exactly what you mean. If we all had the faith of a mustard seed, there would be a lot of missing mountains! LOL!
I need to remember that God is always there, just like everyone else. He knows us, and knows how scared we get. He will help us soar!

This really ministered to me tonite because I am struggling with a minor physical issue and although I think it is menopausal related my doc wants me to see a specialist and it is kind of freaking me out! But I know God has made my body and I need to trust Him to work things out according to His plan. Meanwhile,I will need much courage to give the Lord my anxiety and just TRUST!!!! I need faith that I will be ok!
Hi Faith! No one likes that kind of news, you are not alone in that. You are doing all the right things, and following your MD’s advice, what more can you do? Now comes the time for faith, you are so right.
